Our purpose for the Pediatric Celiac Disease Registry is to collect clinical information from patients with Celiac disease and other gluten-related disorders which will allow us to better understand the natural history of celiac disease and gluten-related disorders,  identify barriers of care, and help improve our approaches to care and treatment. 

Your information can help us to:

 

 

Study the many clinical presentations at diagnosis of celiac disease and other gluten-related disorders

 

 

Identify the long-term impacts of celiac disease and other gluten-related disorders

 

 

Understand and address the challenges faced among children and caregivers in the management of celiac disease and gluten-related disorders

 

 

Help to support better diagnostic tools and treatments, and more...

         Who can join this study?

Any patient at UCSF Benioff Children's with Celiac disease or gluten-related disorder

 

What do I have to do as a patient?

 

All you have to do is attend your regular appointments at UCSF Benioff Childrens Hospital & take a yearly survey

What information are we looking at?

Information in your medical chart related to your Celiac / Gluten-related disorder, including: 

  • Demographics, medical and family history, diet history, and height and weight
  • Data about your celiac disease (diagnosis information, celiac disease panel results, lab results, imaging studies, and genetic testing information

Questionnaires about your childs quality of life and life circumstances
